Women's League Launches Empowerment Initiative

The Safina Party Women’s League, under the leadership of Emily Kwamboka, has launched an ambitious empowerment initiative aimed at increasing women’s participation in both political and economic spheres.

Program Components

The initiative includes several key components:

Economic Empowerment

  • Access to microfinance and business training
  • Women’s cooperative development
  • Market access for women entrepreneurs
  • Financial literacy programs

Political Participation

  • Leadership training for women aspirants
  • Mentorship programs
  • Campaign skills development
  • Advocacy for women’s representation

Social Support

  • Community support networks
  • Childcare solutions
  • Healthcare access
  • Education scholarships for girls

Breaking Barriers

“For too long, women in Kenya have faced unnecessary barriers to full participation in our democracy and economy,” said Emily Kwamboka, Women’s League Coordinator. “This initiative is about breaking down those barriers and creating pathways for women to lead and succeed.”

Success Stories

The program has already helped launch several women-owned businesses in pilot regions and trained over 50 women political aspirants in campaign management and public speaking.

How to Get Involved

Women across Kenya are invited to join the Women’s League and participate in these empowerment programs. Regional chapters are being established in all counties, with local coordinators ready to welcome new members.

Together, we are building a Kenya where women’s voices are heard, respected, and acted upon.
