Safina Party Manifesto 2022
The Ark - Building Kenya's Future Through Bottom-Up Economic Transformation
Our Vision for Kenya
Safina, which means "Noah's Ark" in Kiswahili, built its manifesto around themes of rescue, economic renewal, and good governance. Our symbol, the tortoise, signifies wisdom and steady progress. As a firm member of the Kenya Kwanza Alliance, our manifesto aligns with and contributes to "The Plan" - a comprehensive bottom-up economic transformation agenda.
1. Economic Revolution & Bottom-Up Transformation
This is our central theme, aligning with the Kenya Kwanza "Bottom-Up" economic model that prioritizes grassroots economic empowerment.
Support for MSMEs
Prioritizing funding, training, and market access for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises as the primary engine for job creation and economic growth.
Agricultural Reform
Focusing on value addition for agricultural produce, stabilizing prices for key commodities, and supporting small-scale farmers with subsidies and modern technology.
Industrialization
Promoting local manufacturing and agro-processing to create jobs and reduce the import bill while building Kenya's industrial capacity.
2. Good Governance and Anti-Corruption
As a party with a historical legacy of fighting for democracy, good governance remains our cornerstone commitment to the Kenyan people.

Pledging to protect the independence of institutions like the Judiciary and anti-corruption agencies to ensure accountability and rule of law.
Fiscal Discipline
Promising to audit public debt and ensure public funds are used transparently and efficiently for the benefit of all Kenyans.
